Tamil language club expands workshop to help writers
THE Tamil Language Revival Club of Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris in Teluk Intan, Perak, will be expanding its literary workshops to help aspiring writers, Malaysia Nanban reported.
It quoted Tamil Department lecturer Dr Muniisvaran Kumar as saying that the club had conducted two series of short-story writing workshops since April.
Each seven-week session is part of the effort to help young local writers improve. The second session was launched in October and ended in December, with the help of prominent Tamil writer K. Balamurigan.
